Hotmail Login: Recover Your Password and Login Automatically

Forgot your Hotmail login password? Reset it, save it, and login to Hotmail with a single click with password manager.

To recover your Hotmail password, please do the following:

  • Go to the "Forgot Hotmail password?" page;
  • Enter your email address;
  • Enter the characters you see on a picture or hear on an audio (the audio button is on the right from the image);
  • Click the "Continue" button;
  • Choose either to send you a password reset message or to provide your account information;
  • Enter your alternative email address or account data and the answer to your secret question;
  • Enter your new password and then re-enter it;
  • Click the "Continue" button.

To login to your your Hotmail automatically, please do the following:

  • Download and install Handy Password;
  • Turn on Handy Password toolbar in Internet Explorer/Firefox;
  • Go to login.passport.net;
  • Enter your Hotmail email address and password;
  • Click the "Save" button on the Handy Password toolbar;
  • Check the "Show on Toolbar" checkbox in the opened "Save card" dialog;
  • Press "Enter".

From now on, to login to Hotmail automatically, just click "Hotmail login" button on the Handy Password toolbar.

Notes:
You can also recover your password online using your alternate e-mail address or subscription billing information.
If you have forgotten your secret answer or were not asked to provide it during registration, .NET Passport may allow you to reset your password by e-mail. You will see a Reset your password by e-mail link during the password reset process if this option is available to you.
If you have a Microsoft subscription that you pay for with a credit card, and that subscription is associated with your Passport account, you can also reset your password by providing your billing information.
